This car has had the original V8 motor from the States shipped and put in. Whole project took 18 months but has really changed the driving dynamics. Note - this is NOT a standard 3.5 or 3.7L inline 5 cylinder but rather the Hummer H3 V8 Alpha engine. All compliances have been completed and approved. Vehicle has done 45, 000km and the engine has done 4700km in total including previous donor vehicle. This modification took 18 months and just on 15K to achieve. So far as the engine goes, it arrived bare so the following has been purchased brand new: · Alternator · Water Pump · Plugs and leads · Davies Craig thermo fans · Radiator · Transmission cooler package · Air filter box and filter · Air conditioning Compressor · Air conditioner condenser and hoses · O2 sensors · Fuel lines and filters · Engine Mounts and Starter motor Gearbox was also fully refurbished with new bands as well as input shaft and a custom torque convertor.
